Eric Grace

Executive Director

Eric has been a land trust executive director since 1997. He began his career at the Genesee Valley Conservancy in Geneseo, NY, then moved to the Kaniksu Land Trust, in Sandpoint, ID. In 2019, he  landed at the Land Trust of the Treasure Valley.

Eric’s passion is protecting the land that defines a community. While in college, he and his family worked with a land trust to permanently protect farmland that had been in his family for generations. This sparked his interest in land trust work, and thus he has dedicated his professional career to this pursuit. His happiest moments are seeing a landowner protect the land they love.

Since 1997, Eric has worked on completing over 35 projects, protecting public access preserves, wildlife habitat, and thousands of acres of working farm and ranch lands. He is dedicated to continuing this conservation in the Treasure Valley. With the increased population there has never been a bigger need for LTTV to balance this growth with meaningful conservation.
