2016 FILMS
The Official Film Selections for the inaugural event on Saturday March 5th, 2016 are listed below. Several of the films listed first have been produced in Idaho, followed by films produced in the Pacific Northwest, and then those produced all over the world. From Idaho to Australia, Borneo, The Netherlands, Singapore, China and Nepal, Les Bois screens nature films that inspire viewers to care for our planet and to get outside to awaken adventure and discovery.
Idaho’s Bird by Bird program brings birds to classrooms, and classrooms to birds. This innovative K-12 outdoor education project seeks to connect kids with nature through bird watching. The film was produced by Les Bois Film Festival co-host Wild Lens.
Building Hippie Shake Trail Time Elapse (1 min)
On May 2, 2015 more than 60 volunteers built a 1/2 mile trail called Hippie Shake in Hillside to the Hollow Nature Reserve in Boise, Idaho. Produced by Jim Benning.
An exploration of the Boise Foothills from three very different and unique perspectives. This film will give you a newfound respect for the foothills.

View from a Pedal Buggy (10 min)
A heartwarming story about a truly unique Boise character. Gregory Allen designs and fabricates his own form of transportation; pedal powered, electric assisted tricycles. These vehicles are affectionately refereed to by Gregory as ‘pedal buggys.’ Produced by Boise filmmaker Zach Voss of Retroscope Media.
